QUALITY HEALTH FOUNDATION OF NIGERIA (QUALIHFON) is a registered, non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 2007 with the mission to the improve the health status of women and their families through improved access to quality and safe Reproductive health care information and services with Family Planning information and services as the entry point.

The organization will advance the innovative application of ICT and Knowledge management in promoting quality health care services with emphasis on the disadvantaged and vulnerable segments of the population such as the poor in rural and urban slums.

QUALIHFON provides a framework for partnership and linkage between health care consumers and providers in the public and private sectors, in ensuring that quality and safe care services are provided for the population at an affordable cost.

The organization recognizes that consumers have a critical role in ensuring that they have access to quality health care services and therefore the need to empower them with the requisite knowledge and information necessary to demand for quality care at an affordable cost. Consumers will also be empowered to be able to navigate through the complex web of providers and services to make informed choice on use of available services.
